The closing of a chapter
We don't want it to end
But we're watching it move slowly
Like we knew when we were fading
Like we could see the time ticking down
It's almost over now
The lights are fading
Walking on becomes harder and harder
Who knew we were going to end up like the ones that tried before us
Who knew that all the people that put faith in us are now broken hearted
Who knew life was going to be written this way
